The year 2025 begins. Like every new year, it begins on 1 January, the day on which the West celebrates the first of women, Mary, Mother of God. What a patriarchy that dedicates the first year to a woman!
I begin the year by summarising the past 2024 in a few ideas.
Young people all over Europe are massively joining conservative and patriotic projects, parties and movements. European youth reject the academic and university professor who tells them that Spain plundered America or that Africa was worse off before so-called decolonisation; the high school teacher who tells them that their father is a potential abuser, that their grandparents were murderers but Che Gevara was a Little Sister of Charity and that calling the girl next to them pretty is a microaggression but gang-raping is the West’s fault.
In the past year it seems that the Brussels bureaucracy has discovered that housing prices are rising but they haven’t yet discovered that in many countries this rise in housing prices is due to their own policies of restricting construction, environmental constraints and openness to foreign real estate investment.
In 2024, Maduro’s tyranny stole the elections from Edmundo González, the true elected president of Venezuela, and María Corina Machado, a heroine of freedom, but the Europeans, especially the Spanish, Portuguese and Italians, are still waiting for Von der Leyen to make a gesture and for the European chancelleries to recognise the winner of the elections.
Which forces us to remember that it is already 2025 and Cuba is still a bloody communist tyranny, without the European Union, so concerned about democracies in East Asia, doing anything real to combat this dictatorial government that has been oppressing the Cuban people for decades.
Across Europe, public debt, taxes and charges are rising. Births are decreasing. European funds have mortgaged the tomorrow of future generations and the German economy continues to stagnate.
Despite all the attempts of the mainstream media, sovereigntist, patriotic and conservative parties are on the rise in all nations. Even Matteo Salvini has escaped unjust condemnation. Justice was done in Italy because it is the duty of a politician to protect his borders.
The threat of the oligarchs – Von der Leyen is their representative figure – to freedom of expression and opinion is growing. They seem ready for total censorship and absolute control to avoid further defeats like in the United States, and threaten those who are opening doors to freedom like Elon Musk.
In the European Union, Qatargate remains unresolved and a commissioner, Reynders, is being prosecuted; and Ursula is haunted by the #Pfizer case. In Spain, Sánchez’s family, party and government mired in systemic corruption.
Úrsula von der Leyen repeats as president of the European Commission and manages to form a new commission. A missed opportunity to strike a blow at the power of the fake elites who are leading us to total economic failure.
The immigration invasion promoted by the elites continues its accelerated process. From Italy (Lampedusa) to Spain. The Canaries are now the target of the mafias; and by extension, the whole of Spain.
In Valencia, hundreds dead in the floods. Sánchez, immoral and criminal, left them defenceless. And even today, they feel abandoned by the Autonomous State, which has failed.
The year began in Brussels with fear in the body of the bureaucrats because of the tractoradas and the massive response of the countryside to the #GreenDeal. As in June, the coalition again wins, they end the year by dealing a blow to the countryside with the Mercosur agreement. Learning
Trump wins against everyone. But his victory is so overwhelming that even his haters are getting a little bit closer. Hypocrites.
Let’s see what 2025 has to offer.
